We wandered into The Furniture Shack after hearing about it from friends who had just purchased a sectional there. We were looking for new beds for our kids shared bedroom. Had looked at Ikea first and then came to the Furniture Shack. We were pleasantly surprised by the easy to find location, friendly staff, and well organized floor. Even though it’s set up in a warehouse they have done an awesome job of making it feel homey and warm inside. We never felt pressured to purchase anything. We ended up finding two new beds that were exactly what we wanted and at a steal of a price! Couldn’t be happier with our experience and will definitely go back for future furniture purchases.

After looking and looking for living room furniture at different stores in Portland, I googled furniture shops and found the excellent reviews here. I have recently moved here and was looking for more of a Mom and Pop local store to deal with other than one of the big places that barely notice when you walk in the door. Brett met my daughter and I with enthusiasm and truly cared about my budget and what I was looking for. Delivery was quick and courteous from the vendor they use to deliver. I have recently went back to take advantage of their layaway for some matching pieces. Will be a life long customer.

I had to furnish an entire apartment from scratch, so I spent quite a bit of time searching through vintage shops and furniture stores. I am so thankful to have stumbled across The Furniture Shack, basically by accident. They had a great selection and better prices than the competition for equivalent merchandise.
